History & Tradition
Established in 2010, Holy Angels Catholic School is one of the Archdiocese of Baltimore's Community schools providing a safe and nurturing environment in the Catholic tradition for children of all faiths.
Holy Angels' history can be traced back to generations of families from Father Charles Hall, St. Peter Claver, St. Ambrose, St. Bernadine, and St. William of York. Families who attended these schools continue their tradition of a Catholic education for their children and grandchildren at HACS. They want to ensure their children have the same type of wonderful experiences they had here at Holy Angels.
Since Holy Angels has been open, many traditions from the previous schools have continued and new ones have begun. These include:
- Incorporating the St. Francis Prayer of Peace
- St. Bernadine's Library
- Fr. Charles Hall Prayer Table
- The Study of the Saints
- PIE Run
- Graduate Walk
- Prayer Partners
- Celebratory Dances
- STEM Fair
- African American Minute
