Mindfulness & Meditation
Mindfulness/Mediation is the practice of paying attention and gaining
awareness of ones body by observing thoughts,feelings, sounds,
and physical sensations in the present moment. We teach students to practice Mindfulness by sitting calmly, breathing deeply, and choosing words to express themselves. Each class begins with a prayer, and we keep God at the center of our practice. Our students share their feelings without judgement, and are learning to listen and accept others.
