Holy Angels Catholic School believes and lives the Christian value of love. We expect students to show their love of others by participating in community service outreach. A partial list of those who have benefited from our students' kindness and compassion are:
- St. Agnes Breast Center
- The Little Sisters of the Poor
- Baltimore Station
- Catholic Relief Services
- Maryland SPCA
- Hurricane Relief
As each one has received a gift, use it to serve one another as good stewards of God’s varied grace. -1 Peter 4:10
At St. Elizabeth's, students provide weekly companionship to senior residents. Students in PreK through 7th Grade visit with the elders singing songs, reciting poems, crafting, participating in wheelchair exercises, or simply chatting together.
In 8th Grade, students adopt a Grand-friend to discuss current events, reminisce about their grand-friends' life, and get advice as they enter high school.
Each class has a designated basket at their classroom prayer table where students are encouraged to donate canned goods and non perishable items for the food pantries of our partner churches. Each year, the compassionate children of HACS collect over 1000 lbs of food for our neighbors in need.
Occasionally, students will visit the Maryland SPCA and read to the animals to provide company to the animals while the students practice and improve their reading and comprehensive skills.
